This workshop is designed to give organizations a good understanding of Alberta's minimum standards for pay entitlements which will lead to improved employer & employee relations. It also helps employers to establish appropriate company policy and avoid policies that may require time-consuming (and costly) corrections later. In this workshop, the Alberta Employee Standards Code & Regulation will be reviewed. Topics discussed will include: minimum standards of employment, wages, hours of work, over time pay, holiday pay, leaves, termination of employment, employing staff under 18, etc.
