Position / Placement: Conservation Volunteer- One, Two, Tree!

Join the Nature Conservancy of Canada for a fun, family-friendly afternoon of tree surveying!

  • Volunteers are needed to help assess the health and success of trees that were planted in 2014 on the scenic HG Lawrence property, a 30 minute drive from Red Deer on the shores of Pine Lake.
  • Volunteers will be led by NCC staff who will provide instruction and guidance throughout the survey. After the surveying is done for the day we will take a walk to the edge of Pine Lake for some scenic views and snacks.

No previous experience required! This is a great opportunity to learn more about the environment and help gather valuable data.

Training and support is provided. Youth (18 years of age and younger), teens, families, and groups are welcome to apply.
