Position / Placement: Heart & Stroke Golf Classic Event Day Volunteers

We're well into planning this year's tournament on Thursday, June 28 at the Innisfail Golf Club and we are in need of volunteers to help with the event day.
By giving the gift of your time, you become a part of the incredible work being done right here in our province to prevent disease, save lives, and promote recovery. For example, Dr. Margie Danveport at the University of Alberta is using her funding from Heart & Stroke to study how pregnancy complications lead to problems with the vascular system later in life. And at the University of Alberta, Dr. Adam Kirton helps children living with deficits from a stroke they had within 30 day of their birth to regain mobility and independence.
We are looking for volunteers to help fill the following positions:

Registration/Raffle/ 50/50/Mulligan Sales:
7:00 am - 9:30 am
Volunteer duties will either consist of signing in players at registration or selling tickets. Volunteers must have "good-proof" cash handling skills.

Hole Spotters:
8:30 am - approximately 3:00 pm (when golfers have completed golfing)
Enjoy the day out on the course: the purpose of this position is to "sit" on the holes with hole-in-one contests. These volunteers will be there to confirm any hole-in-ones that happen.
Volunteers must provide their own lawn chair.
2 volunteers per hold.

Putting Contest:
8:30 am - approximately 3:00 pm (when golfers finished golfing).
Volunteers must have good cash handling skills and will need to bring their own lawn chair to sit on.

Raffle/50/50/ sales at the dinner and silent auction cash-out:
1:00 pm - approximately 5:00 pm (when all golfers have left).
Volunteers must have good cash handling skills.

The tournament happens rain or shine, so please dress accordingly.
Thank you for the help, and we look forward to seeing you on the course!
