Position / Placement: Parade Volunteer

The Central Alberta Sexual Assault Support Centre is looking for a Parade Volunteer for the Westerners Days Parade.

Position Description:

  • We are looking for friendly enthusiastic volunteers to walk alongside or to sit on our parade float
  • We are here to support the community and raise awareness for the Central Alberta Sexual Assault Support Centre
  • Our wonderful therapy dogs Jake and Thunder will be joining us

Qualifications/Skills Required:

  • We are looking for big hearts and smiles
  • We will all be walking together to support an amazing cause and agency

Benefits:

  • Our volunteers will wear our "Made to Respect" t-shirts

Training and Support is provided.

Youth (18 and under) are welcome to apply. Youth aged 13 and under need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Event Details:

Further details are to come regarding the location we are all to meet at. Please contact the Volunteer/SART Coordinator Michele Kercher to be included in our parade. Any further information will be provided by the CASASC regarding the parade. This is always a fun event and so important to spread advocacy to the community.
