How to be a Youth-Friendly Volunteer Program with special guests Bobby-Jo Stannard, Social Planning Supervisor, FCSS & Community Development, City of Red Deer; Aisley Miles, Volunteer Central Board Member and Youth at the Table participant; A representative from United Way of Central Alberta.
Our guests will focus on how organizations and programs can be youth-friendly.
Bobbi-Jo will be sharing her insights from the Engaging YOUth conference that the FCSS hosted last fall, along with some great insight on how to create youth-friendly volunteer programs and environments.
Aisley Miles will be providing her perspective as a Youth at the Table participant, and staff member at Turning Point.
A staff member from United Way of Central Alberta staff will be giving an update on GenNext Central Alberta initiative.
