Volunteers would be part of our Grant Writing and Sponsorship Committee, which would meet once a month. Primarily, the committee would be responsible for two things:
1) Creating an infrastructure in order to ensure that the committee can operate from year to year with a well-defined structure, and measurable goals and outcomes.
2) Seeking out grants, applying for them, and completing yearly reporting as outlined in the grant agreement.
3) Developing a list of potential community partners, and then establishing contact to detail our sponsorship program.
As a non-profit, youth theatre company, we strive to keep our registration costs low for our participants. We depend on the revenue that we receive from grants and sponsors in order to accomplish this. Volunteers would work within a committee once a month. Experience with grant writing and securing sponsorships would be a huge asset to us, but we would love to have anyone with a passion for the arts, and youth theatre.
